The Koala and the Lizard

 A Koala was sitting in a gum tree smoking a joint when a little lizard walked past. The little lizard looked up and said:

 - Hey Koala! What are you doing?

The koala said:

- Smoking a joint, come up and have some.

So the little lizard climbed up and sat next to the koala where they enjoyed a few joints. After a while, the little lizard said that his mouth was ‘dry’, and that he was going to get a drink from the river. The little lizard was so stoned that he leaned over too far and fell into the river. A crocodile saw this and swam over to the little lizard and helped him to the side. Then he asked the little lizard:

- What’s the matter with you?

The little lizard explained to the crocodile that he was sitting smoking a joint with the koala in the tree, got too stoned and then fell into the river while taking a drink. The crocodile said he had to check this out, so he walked into the rain forest and found the tree where the koala was sitting finishing the joint. The crocodile looked up and said:

- Hey You!

So the koala looked down at him and said:

- Shiiiiiiiiiiit, dude….. How much water did you drink?

De volta

Fui, voltei, fui, voltei… Decidi. Têm coisas na vida que não adiantam ser de graça. Existe um compromisso entre o que é bom e barato e o que é ruim e barato. Pois é, fiz a minha assinatura no Flickr. Agora tenho uma conta Pro por lá, sem limites de quantidade, tamanho de foto, banda de upload, nada. Resolvi fazer isso pelas várias facilidades que o produto me oferece, dentre elas manter as estatísticas, ter um tamanho ilimitado para as fotos e por servir de um espaço de backup das minhas fotografias. É impressionante o que isso consome de disco rígido. Só para quatro meses eu enchi um DVD. Sem falar na inconveniência de poder ter o meu HD externo roubado, quebrado ou reformatado. Além disso, quero valorizar o esforço de ter colocado legendas, classificado as fotos, georeferenciado… Não parece, mas aquelas duzentas fotos que estão lá deram um bom trabalho. Coisa pacas. Vou substituir as fotos que estão lá pelas fotos originais. Vou aos poucos reorganizá-las em mais coleções, álbuns e grupos de visitantes. Tem algumas fotos que gostaria apenas que os amigos e familiares pudessem ver. Assim, só vantagens. Também vou poder colocar os vídeos lá. A “TV Bração” do Japa vai sair!! Só preciso ir lá nos EUA para trazer uma filmadora mais barata. Não compensa por aqui. Mas existe ainda um outro motivo para manter as minhas fotos no Flickr. Acreditem se quiser, tenho duas fotos que talvez sejam publicadas semana que vem em uma revista americana, a Architecture Week. O editor me pediu permissão de utilizar as fotos caso sejam selecionadas. Coisas inesperadas e interessantes!
